Some Streaking Video

For your eyes only, we have two never aired-before film clips.

The first of these is entitled "Matrix Homeless Shelter Juvenile Beatdown," and it was NEVER EVER EVER videotaped by Sippy.  Actually, it was, and it's his intellectual property.  It features two little kids going at it in front of a homeless shelter in Washington, D.C.  Rated PG-13 for intense violence.

Matrix Homeless Shelter Juvenile Beatdown

The second I call, "All I Want  for Christmas is a Better Colon."  More down-to-earth than the first, it features a Super-Dooper-Raindeer-Pooper letting out a load on top of a Calculus book.  Rated PG for mature themes.

Smiling, Recommended by 3 out of 4 Dentists.

Ah, it's great to be back even after you've missed a little half-assed Tuesday.  The little things truly, truly, truly are incredible; I cannot stress that enough.

Got to fight for an extra point on my Psychology take-home test that was conveniently due today instead of Monday.  Have increased appreciation for male anatomy after Kreloff's descriptions/suggestions/incinerations/etc.

Everyone hates the Polish; better yet, everyone hates the Reverse Polish.  "78-3*23+900/" should not equal 12.  (Actually, I'm not entirely sure it does.)  (Actually, I'm sure it doesn't, those numbers were completely random.)  I want a car.

Stricky and Truxi are insane.  They plot my death, want to see me pantomime being a newsie, and much worse.  One day, when I'm older than them, I'll have my revenge.  BWAH.  (The Vampire Lords hit you for 46 points of damage.)  This presentation tomorrow is going to be hands-down disgusting.  I don't want to think of it right now, so I'm moving on.

Tutoring is always a blast.  I erroneously made a promise to 'ittle Roger that I'd come to his school at 11:15 next Wednesday so he can show me the place the other kids ominously refer to as "The Dead End Place."  I don't know about you, but I think someone needs to pull the cops on that joint.

Got a lot of sleep intermingled with Physics studying after I got home, had three taquitos (those things get increasingly disgusting given time and appetite.)

Guess what?  Since it'll be out of my profile soon...

Those big luscious lips of Angelina Jolie have men dying to kiss them. A survey by Blockbuster Video says more than a third of men rated her most kissable.

A perfectly decent smiling shot.

I love that woman.  How great is she?

Laters.  Awaiting something.

Hmm.

It strikes me that this blog currently has 770 hits.  It's been up for maybe 3 months.  My SubProfile was up for 3 years, and I'm not sure that it ever made that many.

The question is: are more people looking at this, or is it skyrocketing because it doesn't bother to not accept my own IP address?

Preferably the former.

Preemptive Sick

Ack.  Maybe I shouldn't have stayed home today.  Oh well.

Since I pretty much felt crappy - really crappy - as soon as I got home from school yesterday, I decided that I wanted to stay home from school today if it was going to be the same thing.  So I just hung out here, waiting to get sick.

Kind of stupid.  The light fever went away, I barely had a headache, etc., etc.

What were the benefits?  Let's think.

I got to watch Live and Let Die, Roger Moore's first.  It was okay.  I liked A View To A Kill better, although the "It's no good to go out half-cocked" line was a saving grace.

I got to try out "Soup at Hand" for the first time.  As I thought, soup in the hand is not worth two in the bush, especially when it's called "Soup at Hand."

What else?  Nothing's coming to me.

At least my classwork's done, but now I have Physics AND Spanish to make up.  (Maybe I planned it subconsciously?)

See you all tomorrow.

Wow, I'm Behind

In so many ways.

First off, WHY HAVE I NOT POSTED IN AGES?
Well, it all has to do with that wonderful computer game I received, Final Fantasy XI Online.  Since I'm essentially not allowed to play computer games much (if at all) during the weekday, I knew that break would be the biggest chunk (relatively) of time that would be available for me to play.  Needless to say, I sucked every possible drop of gaming I could.  Great game.  Galenfang is currently a Level 12 (almost 13) Elvaan Warrior from the city of Windurst, on the Kujata server.  He's specializing in scythe these days.  Let me know if you play the game and I don't know it, I'd be interested.

Oh, a disclaimer: although the stupid "Busy playing FFXI" Away message may have been up for seventeen hours in a row, the most I was on a day was 3.5 hours.  Just to clear things up.

Today - our first day back.  Did I manage?

Morning started off in Robinson.  I had completely forgotten that we needed to wait inside the school from now on.  I was kind of grumpy about that.  Because there's no way I can get homework done when I'm surrounded by other people, much less other people that I can actually talk to.  So the rest of the Physics problem set didn't get done.

But...

All hail the CUSTOADIAN, who was born today, January 5, 2004.  2004.

SPANISH: listened to presentations.  Discussed religion.  Felt shamefully incompetent while trying to form half-decent Spanish sentences for Alice - my head just doesn't work that fast that early in the morning! (Or, at least that's my excuse.)
MATH: boy, talk about picking up right where we left off.  Or after!  I swear they say they've taught us things that they really, really haven't.  But as long as there was no collected work, it was fine.
PHYSICS: the Colonel printed off a spreadsheet about what everyone did wrong on their labs.  Andrew and I were apparently working on the wrong computer.  Shame on us.  And we graphed three things on separate graphs, not on the same as we were supposed to.  Sorry, but I never knew you could put Acceleration, Position, and Velocity on the same graph.  Sheesh!
HISTORY:  I better not have to watch a smidgen of "Newsies."  Or I will be very upset.
PSYCH: Scary sub-man! He hummed and talked about extraterrestrials.  Clinton.  Phew, thought I needed to turn in that take-home test.
CS: ...
ENGLISH: I don't even remember what happened in that class.  Nuance.  Other stuff.

Five fire drills.  I think.  I learned something new each time:

1.  Olivia is an amazing artist.  People are nutpots.
2.  Kristin is very suspicious.  Breath strips melt in rain.  The gnome feeds small rodents during the long, severe winter.  People are nutpots.
3.  I can get third place in a Caps game when I'm lucky.
4.  I can get second place in a Caps gaim when I'm lucky.
5.  I can get third place in a Caps game when I'm less lucky.  People are nutpots.
6.  Mr. Kosatka (sp?) is NOT HOT.

Okay, that's six, but I make it a point not to count anymore.

More later.  Andy Andy Andy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!!

Yet another great holiday season, I've got to say.  The past few days have been endlessly crazy, as usual.  What do you expect?  Served at the 5:00 Christmas Eve Mass at the Church - always a privilege - and headed over to my grandparents for the annual Seafood Dinner.  Positively piquant appetizers (minilobster, etc.) and more were available.  I'm not even a huge seafood fan, and it was still good.  ('Cept for that Anchovy Spaghetti.  I just can't do that.)  Headed back home, took care of last-minute wrapping, and went to bed.

Woke up sometime around eight today.  Highlights of what's now mine: some nifty Altoid strips (takes all the fun out of the suck, eh?) that I'm sure will be gone in three or four days; this freaky clear plastic ball with maggots crawling inside; a nifty watch that still needs to be sized (long live Analog); chocolate out the wazoo; an electric shaver (Lord knows why I'd need that); assorted sweaters and pants and other clothing articles.  The 3rd James Bond DVD set (featuring Octopussy, Live and Let Die, OHMSS, and Die Another Day), FFXI (downloads still progressing as we speak); a Smoothie Maker (wowza) from my grandparents, assorted bonds and stuff, and probably a bit more I've forgotten to mention.  Thanks guys!

We headed over to my grandparents' again for the traditional homemade egg McMuffins and other breakfast stuff (much to my  "please, Dad!  Let me on the computer for just an hour" moans), and proceeded to stay there until 9:30 at night.  It's pretty crazy having an entire side of the family all within fifteen minutes of the same place.  But it's still cool, being able to see your cousins and uncles and aunts and other assorted imposters all under the same roof.  Laughing at the little tykes that can't beat Mario Brothers 3 on their GBA SP and don't realize the value of secrecy while playing Clue.  It's all good.  More dinner; more seafood; more Italian.  Cheesecake and Fudge.  Don't remind me.

That's all I've really got to say right now.  Let's hope things get even better from here on out!

Lord of 3

That's right.  Saw it today with the two ladies at Fairfax NewPlace.  Highlights outside of the movie:

$5.00 Popcorn.
"Enjoy Your Show" giggles (they all loved it!).
THE TUNNEL (Runway Tunnel, that is)
Middle-Aged "Hot Chick" man.
There's a Chipotle there?
Roped-off Bathroom

You'll only get the above if you were there with me.

Anyways, a la Christine, here are the things LOTR 3 has taught me.

1.  You can avoid all of the world's problems by not going fishing.
2.  As soon as you walk into any really quiet throne room, give the guy in the throne a concussion.
3.  Don't climb on top of elephants.  Your head will get all big and computer-generated.
4.  If you ever find a big ball with the eye of Satan in it, don't touch.
5.  Don't listen to your dad.  Especially if he's a king and eats bloody tomatoes.
6.  If you ever need to cross long rocky distances, tell the cameras to look somewhere else for a min.
7.  Always carry a canister of Raid in your pocket, especially on long journeys.
8.  Didn't your momma always tell you not to trust scrawny little twits with schizophrenia?
9.  Orcs are bad.  Orcs with hideous, misformed faces are worse.
10.  If you ever need to defend a battle, don't worry about the hill.  That's where your reinforcements will come from.

That's it for now.

There was TOO MUCH Legolas.  He's not that cute.  He just keeps his face clean.
There was not enough Liv Tyler.  Although her fuzzy lips take up half the screen, it's worth it.  A man has to have something to eat his popcorn to.

Andy.

Last Three Boring Days

So, what's been happening in Andyland recently?  Let's have a recap.

Friday:  Exhausted.  Collapsing.  Escaping just in the nick of time (the building and school in general).  Had to decline the Civving and such, just for my poor rotting self.

Saturday:  Very happy.  Our first day off!  I don't actually remember what I did, to tell you the truth.  It was probably something important.  Shopping?  Hefty IMing.

Sunday:  Wake up.  Church.  Grandparent's house for an interesting escapade (maybe more on this later.)

Monday:  Up.  Appointment with the optometrist (eyes sure haven't changed, guess that's exciting).  Think I'm going with folks to Tyson's for some returns and such.

Excitement.  Needed.  Now.  I'm kicking myself for not being able to drive.  My 17.5 birthday's coming soon, I don't want to be a year and a half behind.  Gosh.

There's something missing right now.  Fill it, please.

My Curse

I figured out what brings me the most pain in life.

I love and appreciate every person I know more than they love and appreciate me.

And that's almost guaranteed.

And it bothers me.

(Parents might be an exception.)

Don't Worry, Be Happy

The usual Christmas cheer is once again in poor supply.  Nobody's happy.  Why?

It's the puzzle again.  The pieces are beginning to grumble, to creak, to move.  To realize that they're in a rut - a rut that they shouldn't be inhabiting - and that they need to get out.

If you're not happy, there's something wrong.
If you're not happy, there's something wrong.
If you're not happy, there's something wrong.

You could be happier.  And it's all a matter of being strong enough to change.  The puzzle pieces gravitate towards others.  Some want to break free.  Some want to be in the center of it all.  Some just don't know where they belong, and some have yet to be placed.   The past calls.

It's coming.

The hand will scatter the pieces across the world.
And you'll only have for support those next to you that you belong with.

Not those you try to fit into.

Smile.

Be happy.

Change.
